FAQ

Can tablets be cut in half to make less solution?

We do not recommend doing this as it is not stated in the instructions for use. Instructions state to use 2 tablets to one gallon of warm tap water. Or, one tablet for two quarts or less.

Is there expiration/shelf life on tablets?

Yes, they have an expiration date of 30 months from manufacturing date.

How long does the solution stay active?

OSHA recommends that the solution be changed daily and depending on daily bio-burden build up even more frequently as necessary. However, internal testing shows that the solution can be premixed and stored in a re-closable jug and be active up to 30 days.

What exactly does it clean?

It cleans dental instruments. The enzyme breaks down the protein (blood and oral debris) that you find on used instruments. This solution is placed in an ultrasonic cleaner that creates ultrasonic waves to help with debris removal.

Can I mix the tablets with anything other than water?

NO

Will the solution clean more effectively if I saturate it with more tablets?

The SDS for this product states to arrange disposal in accordance to the EPA and/or state and local guidelines as it can vary from state to state.

How many times can you use the solution before you need to change it?

Solution should be changed every 24 hours unless it becomes cloudy within that time frame, then the solution should be changed.

10 minutes
